I recently attended the opening for the group show my work was included in—BLOOM!—curated by Museum Director, Emily Feazel of the R.W. Norton Gallery, which is a stunning museum of Fine Arts surrounded by beautiful botanical gardens in Shreveport, Louisiana. The show opened with 51 artists from 21 states and 16 countries. The show itself was well attended and will remain on display through May 27, 2023. From there, the exhibition travels to the Longview Museum of Fine Arts in Texas where it will be through August 2023. Emily reached out to me to apply for the exhibition, and the pieces were selected by a jury of artists and art professionals, part of an annual exhibit and tradition of featuring both established and up and coming artists. The theme was floral in focus but broadly interpreted by a range of talents from all corners of the globe. I have included some photos from the opening of the show at the end of March. It was both an honor and great fun to be selected and included with this incredible group for this exhibition.
